Terms of Use

1. What this service is

Adventure Advertising automatically searches public sources — the YouTube Data API and the Meta Ad Library — for the most-viewed and fastest-spreading advertising, and publishes an analysis of how each campaign is constructed: its beats, its timings, and the mechanism that made it work.

It is a research and education tool. It is not an advertising agency, not a media-buying service, and not professional advice on what your business should spend.

2. Accounts

You need an account to use the library. You must be 18 or over. Give accurate details, keep your password to yourself, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has got into your account. You are responsible for what happens under your login.

You may close your account at any time by emailing us, and we will delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

3. Subscription and payment

The service is currently free. We intend to charge for it in future to fund the research that keeps the data genuine. If and when that happens:

Payments, when they begin, will be taken through a regulated payment processor. We will not store your card details.

4. What you may and may not do with what you find here

Our breakdowns describe structure and technique: pacing, sequence, the order in which information is revealed, and why a mechanism holds attention. Those ideas are yours to use.

Copying the works themselves is a different matter, and not something we license or condone:

5. Accuracy, and its limits

We are deliberate about this, because the whole point of the site is that the numbers are real:

Analyses represent our reading of publicly visible work. They are commentary and opinion, not statements of fact about any brand's internal strategy, budget or results.

6. Acceptable use

Do not: break the law; attempt to breach, overload or probe the service or its infrastructure; use automated tools to extract data in bulk; impersonate anyone; or use the service to produce material that is deceptive, defamatory, or unlawful.

We may suspend or close an account that does these things. Where it is fair to do so, we will tell you why first.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. It depends on third-party platforms and hosting we do not control. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue something you are paying for, we will give notice and refund the unused portion.

8. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss arising from campaigns you create using ideas found here. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim — which, while the service is free, is nil.

Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you — particularly anything about payment — we will give notice by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the change; if you do not, close your account.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of West Bengal have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
